About me
Hi, I’m Mira. I am a professional astrologer and personal coach in Alpharetta/Roswell, Georgia.
My journey into the world of astrology began in Bosnia and Herzegovina, where a profound personal transformation ignited my passion for guiding others on their own paths to self-discovery and growth.
Back then, I found myself amidst the horrific war in the Balkans. I’ll be completely transparent and vulnerable here. Most of my extended family either died or fled the area. One relative took their own life as they were not able to deal with pain. My father passed away earlier, while my mother managed to save herself and her new family.
Only a few hopeful souls stayed behind. I had no options: no water or food, no gas, no car, no road to take, and I was pregnant with my first child. Astrology and prayers combined, offered some answers. There is a mystical and spiritual reason for everything. Life is no accident!
One of the local radio stations where I worked asked me to host a weekly show on astrology. People called in, and I responded with compassion as I could, providing astrological guidance and reading their charts live on air. I rode my bike to work, dodging sniper bullets that literally flew over my head, trying to get there before curfew. I could have died on the streets of Sarajevo several times, “almost” being hit by grenades. I was lucky. Maybe I was crazy? But with Jupiter and Uranus near my Ascendant in Libra, trine Venus in Gemini, some divine protection was always there—Jupiter, like a symbol of an angel on my shoulder. I am grateful and try to stay humble.

Three years before it happened, I accurately predicted the exact date of the Western military involvement in the war in Bosnia that would lead to its end. This was based on various mundane charts, the chart of former Yugoslavia and Uranus in Aquarius transit.
That morning when the bombing happened, my radio boss called me and screamed into my ear, ‘You are crazy!’ I’m not. But nobody expects astrology to really work, do they?
I had to leave Bosnia. In the US, I worked for various conference hotels and later for churches, both Unitarian and Christian. I became a member and then president of the Astrological Society of North Texas (ASNT).
Life is indeed full of challenges. I went through a divorce, complete betrayal, a horrible physical assault by a person I trusted, and a home burglary in which all my valuable material possessions were taken.
During my Libra rising loneliness and despair, I signed up for an online dating app. I opened my astrology book, the ephemeris, and looked for the birth date of my loving soulmate. I knew I was about to meet him. My progressed Venus was moving fast in my chart.
I searched for the position of his Venus connected to my Sun, his North Node of the Moon aligned with mine. When I found his birth year and his astrological sign, it was easy to find him on the app: that many years old, Zodiac sign such and such… His picture and his profile popped up. Is this him?
I messaged him, we met, married six months later, and we are still together.

Several years ago, I found myself at a crossroads again, seeking deeper understanding and insight into my life’s challenges and opportunities. I felt disconnected and was searching for clarity. What I was doing at the time was draining me.
Determined to find answers, I delved into astrology once again, exploring its wisdom and how it could illuminate my path. As I gained deeper insights into my own astrological chart, I experienced not only a greater understanding of myself but also a positive shift in my personal and spiritual well-being. This transformative experience inspired me to pursue a professional career in astrology again, with a mission to empower others to uncover their true potential and experience the profound benefits of astrological guidance.

I obtained my certification in astrological ethics and immersed myself in the study of astrology first with a local teacher and the Constellation bookstore owner, now late Alice McFarlen of Dallas, TX. Then I connected with with evolutionary and esoteric teachers such as Alan Oken and Robert Blaschke and the whole lineup of great astrologers. I studied modern techniques, ancient Hellenistic methods, and traditional astrology. I spoke internationally and gave astrology lectures in New Orleans, Chicago, Denver, Dallas TX, Dusseldorf, Germany and in Sarajevo, Bosnia. I held a bi-weekly school of astrology in Roswell Georgia, at the Eclipse over Roswell in 2023 and 2024.
I have a degree in Communications and Psychology
from the University of Texas of the Permian Basin and a degree in Information Technology from Sarajevo, Bosnia.
